On December 18, 2023, The Basileia Vulnerable Persons Rights Initiative (BVPRI), in collaboration with the Helen Memorial Foundation (HMF), organized a training session in Kaduna State for Out of School Married Adolescent (OMA) girls. The focus was on the objectives of the AIRLOMA project, empowering them to advocate for the review of the Second Chance Policy in Kaduna. The aim was to enhance the policy to include ICT remote learning for girls in the region. The response from these young women was inspiring, showing enthusiasm and hope for the possibility of returning to school and reigniting their aspirations for proper formal education.
